Our Reviews
High praise for Joe Calderon and the team at Fred Haas Toyota Country. I got a screaming deal on my new Tundra TRD Pro - even after my trade came in a bit lower than expected. They still made it work. Awesome job!!
My experience started in 2022 when I had to replace a new 4 X 4 Tacoma that was totaled during COVID: I was told that they had a new one like my totaled one only it was a to wheel drive: I put down the deposit. It finally arrived 10 weeks later and I went to pick it up: They told I would have to pay an additional $1600 if I still wanted it and they had several other buyers if I didnāt want to pay the new amount. Fast forward 2 and 1/2 years later. My service plan had expired and the offered an extended service plan for $200: I paid for the extended plan. I went back for the next service and they told me my extended had expired and asked for another $200 to further extend the plan. After buying 6 vehicles from his establishment, I will never spend another dime at this establishment.
Joseph Calderon was very knowledgeable and patient answering all my questions of what i was looking for. I would highly recommend him to everyone in the market for a new or used vehicle. He is my go to guy always.
Thanks Matt for helping me yesterday to change my bad battery, your such a wonderful advisor,
Came in for an oil change with an appointment, after waiting for over an hour and a half my service advisor let me know it would be another 45 minutes before my car was done. I let my advisor know my appointment was for 12:30 and not 3:30. I will never go back to this dealership for anything.
Service center is outstanding! My service center person Jan, has worked with me since I bought my first Toyota in 2012. Now 5 cars later, she is still fantastic. Always happy and ready to help.
My service advisor Jeff explained my options clearly and patiently, and provided excellent service overall!
Worked with Keith as my salesman and just wanted to send a shout-out how hard he worked for me and how good he is. He took time to answer anything, worked fast when I wanted to work fast, and DEFINITELY helped me out post sale ... went above and beyond. I have been buying cars for decades and he is the first guy I will actually call up for my next car. Thanks much Keith.
I had an issue with my cooling fan on my 2016 Toyota Prius. My service advisor, Sarah gave me excellent service and pricing. My mechanic Alex, did a fabulous job on the repair and explained safety issues to me about my vehicle. They always treat me very well. Thatās why I keep going back. I had another service advisor for a short while in the beginning, Randy who also gave me great customer service. And last Iād like to thank Tony the service manager for running a 5 star service department. David V.
Trying to rip you off in service department. had oil change done but said the following were critical and needed attention. 1. dirty engine filter needs to be replace, I just installed a new K&N filter 3 days before this. 2. Needed a front end alignment, had this done with purchase of 5 tires at Discount Tires less than 2,000 miles. 3. AC unit needs a tune up. It was 75 degrees and had off, never saw them put guages on unit to verify. 4. Brake fluid need to be flushed, they did it about 30,000 miles ago when I needed brakes. I will not go to any Fred Haas dealership anymore, seems they want money for something that does not need work on.....very very disappointed with toyota country.
Joe Calderon gave terrific expertise, service with a smile, excellent help, NO pressure, time shared kindly, and made buying a car pleasant. (I greatly disliked buying a car previously!) Joe made it the best I've ever experienced! Thank you Joe!!!! You have so-o-o blessed me & my family! Thank you Fred Haas Toyota Country Tomball!
If you like being treated like you're no one then this is a place for you. I've had bad experiences since I bought the car 2 years ago. Drove off the lot next day. Have an issues called my sales person, they really didn't care broke down 2 months later. They picked up the car to tell me there's nothing wrong with it. Drove away the next day and few days later car broke down ,then back to the dealership again. Jan Martin calls me to tell me it's the fuel pump. If she would have figured that out from day one I would not be in the problem I am in today. Now my car is broke down again. Igo back to the dealership for them to tell me I we can't fix it?that I need to take it to kia, even though I bought it there at fred Haas Toyota on 249. This has been a mess for 2 years since I bought the car.I really believe they sold me a lemon so if you want to get it taken Advantage of by all means , otherwise I wouldn't shop here. Everyone's rude there from finance to service to the service directors. Just rude. They're easy to take your money and you buy a $30000 car. But if it's not their Toyota brand car, they don't care about you.
It should not take hours to buy a car. A completely unorganized dealership. I don't recommend.
I arrived at fred hass toyota country expecting to leave with a new car. Internet sales manager alan tran was very kind and patient. As well as sales manager ferol morris very kind and patient with the purchase I was attempting to buy from them last night. Only reason I processed to talk to the finace representative was due to ferol morris being so kind. I was still sitting in the looby when Finance manager jimmy cordozo comes up too me and started talking too me very rude. And I understand if the purchase could not be negotiated there is no harm in that. However jimmy judge me by its cover. Assumed I didn't have money in my pocket too spend. Then he continues too tell me he knew from the moment he saw me I was not going to make a purchase with them last night even tho I has more than 3,000 too spend. He assumed just by the way I looked I didn't have money. I felt judge, I felt very disrespectful. And discriminated. For someone that has 19 years of experience with fred hass company. You would think he would honor his tittle and show more respect too the delearships customer's so a purchase could of been made last night. More people will be contacted for this matter. This was unexpectedly.
I receive excellent service and support from Jan Martin each time I bring in my Highlander for service. She is friendly, knowledgeable and explains repairs/maintenance that my car needs. I am so satisfied with the dealership that I am getting ready to purchase my 6th new Toyota vehicle from this dealership.
Very good service. Matt provided friendly and informative status of repairs. Work quality is very good, lobby is comfortable, and coffee is a welcome extra.
Bought a 2020 Toyota Tundra back in January of this year, and the buying experience was great. Steve Nance is an amazing advocate for Toyota. However, upon bringing it in to be serviced 2 months ago, it has been an absolute nightmare. Iāve never left a review before, positive or negative, and felt so inclined to post this out of sheer frustration. The only time you hear from service is when they are pushing some kind of deal, or promotion on you. I brought my car in to get new tires, replace a charging port on the rear of my console, and replace the entire radio head in my truck. From the time I bought it, my apple car play wonāt work for longer than 30 seconds before switching back to regular Bluetooth. All of these were under warranty, it was confirmed with the service advisor multiple times. When I go to pick up my truck, I was told that they werenāt able to fix the radio problem, and that I should try to āupdate my phoneā¦ā it was as updated as possible, they just didnāt have a solution and didnāt want to replace the radio. The rear charging port was also essentially untouched, it was no different then when I brought it in. The best part? They charged me a $800 on top of the tires for quite literally doing nothing. Remember, this is all under warranty, yet I was still charged as if it wasnāt. Why do I pay good money for a warranty then? I confronted the manager about being overcharged $800 and the only response was āour bad, sometimes the numbers get jumbled and we make mistakesā¦.ā I guarantee you if I swiped my card and walked out, they wouldāve gladly taken my money and never reached out to me about their mistake. I then spoke with a higher up at the dealership that following Monday, and he was incredibly apologetic. He old me that the radio would be in that Friday. Flash forward a month, still no call. I reach back out and they said āoh yeah it must be on backorder, Iāll check in on it for you.ā It magically shows up 5 business days laterā¦ it was never orderedā¦. Typical of this place. I drop it off and before I get out of my car, the service advisor is chewing my ear off about a promotion they are running for 3 services for $210 at the moment. As soon as I get my truck back this dealership will never get another dime from me. For youāre own sanity, take your car to another dealership to get serviced. The service advisors here are absolutely atrocious and canāt get out of their own way, and youāre running a risk of being scammed.
I recently bought a used 2018 Honda Ridgeline from this location and about a day later the transmission started slipping. I brought it back to them and they sent it over to get fixed a Honda Tomball. They claimed they fixed it but it was not. So I went John Eagle Honda to get it fixed and they quoted me almost 600$ in services to get my truck fixed. Therefore, I went back to Fred Haas Toyota, showed them the bill, and showed the paper work that John Eagle recommended for my truck and without any hesitation Clint Barton told me to take it back to the dealer I feel comfortable getting my truck fixed and come back and he will write me a check. That is exactly what they did. They did not argue or hesitate to help me. I was in his office for maybe 5 minutes. Highly recommend Fred Haas Toyota.
Service was great! Raphael was professional and courteous! Since my ToyotaCare expired, I purchased a 2 year Toyota maintenance, great value!
Thank you Vincent. Excellent job!!!You did an excellent job informing us about the cars and the features they have! You are a Great salesmen gave us the knowledge we need to make a wise choice!Love Both the vehicles and your The Best!
if you like to get pushed around and get treated like a child this is the place for you, and there all in it from sales personal (joe black) ) ,to finance (carlos) ,, to sales manager (ferrell). just plain unprofessional and rude to say the least.
Fred Haas not only has an excellent shop, but it also has an exceptional service writer in Jan Martin. I have been doing business with Toyota country since they opened which was around 20 plus years ago and still driving my Tunda which they have been servicing for that period of time and it's still running great. I have also been dealing with Jan Martin many, many years and honestly I would not take my Toyota's. to any other dealership. Don Pollock
This Toyota Dealership is fantastic. My sales agent, Mike Strohmeyer worked to the best of his ability to make sure that I got a car. He went above and beyond I will most definitely recommend Fred Haas Toyota
I bought a 2018 RAV4 in feb 2020. 3 years later, Iāve had to replace the engine and now Iām being advised I have to replace the transmission. Repairs are 75% of what I originally paid for the vehicle. They definitely sold me a lemon. Then the slap in the face is when the maintenance person states āthis doesnāt normally happenā. Yeah right! This was my first Toyota. Back to Honda for this gal.
Dealing with sales people is sometimes the worst part of buying a vehicle. But I finally found a sales person that doesn't treat you like a number. Doesn't haggle you into buying something you don't want, listens to what you ask and answers your questions with respect. She has the knowledge about the vehicle to explain things to you. She is also a great buffer between you and the sales manager. She is able to take frustration either from the manager or customer and present it to the other with calmness and kindness to achieve a deal with both parties. I never thought I would find a pleasant sales person to buy a vehicle with. I have now bought two vehicles from her and will be buying another one soon. (I have teenagers) If your a sales person reading this, take note; Missy Gough at Fred Hass Toyota is the example of what a sales person should be. Thank you Missy for my vehicles. I will be seeing you again for the next one.
